Resale Shop Open for the Season:
Museum & Heritage Resale Open May 15

The Lake Erie islands Historical Society's Heritage Resale Shop has been "finished" according to LEIHS Board Member June Stoiber who donated the funds for the building renovation.

June and Kendra Koehler, and dozens of volunteers, have worked tirelessly to get the Heritage Resale Shop set up and inventory displayed over the past few weeks. They had a "soft" opening on May 1. But Friday May 15 is the official opening of both the shop and the Historical Society.

We think you'll enjoy our new building and our new system of accepting donations to make things easier for our donors. Keep us in mind after yard sales, or when you're cleaning out the garage. We appreciate your support.

Interested in volunteering in 2026? Volunteers receive "Resale Bucks" that can be used to purchase items in the shop. Contact Kendra Koehler or email us at volunteers@leihs.org if you would like more information about volunteering.
