Antique & Resale Shop Now Open!

 

The Museum has just opened the Heritage Antiques and Resale Shop
in the 1400 sq. ft. barn behind the main Museum building.
This volunteer-run store is open daily 11 AM to 4 PM
and the inventory constantly changes with all the great donations.

          
              Help Save The Nature Museum

    
  The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society along with the Lake Erie Islands Chapter of the Black Swamp Conservancy has formed a committee to purchase the  "Alaskan Wildlife Museum" located on Meacham Road, Put-in-Bay Township, Ohio.

  The owners have offered the wooded property, museum building and all the wonderful mounts to the committee to open it as a Nature Museum for the Lake Erie Islands. This will be the future home for the popular Nature Camp program along with Elderhostel and other planned events.

   Please help by making a donation to the "Nature Museum Fund" c/o Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, P.O. Box 25, Put-in-Bay, Oh 43456. If you would like more information please call 419-285-2804.

   The committee is selling one square meters of the property to help support this project. For $50.00 you receive an honorary ownership certificate and a donation receipt for tax purposes.
