The Foye Family

  
Henry Foye immigrated from German with his wife Dorthea Meyer and 5
children, a 6th born in Ohio. Setting on Put-in-Bay, where Foye descendants
lived. Son Augustus was 1st mate on Jay Cooke steamer, then Captain of A.
Wehrle Jr. (Renamed the "Rotarian" in 1920). Later descendants lived on Sugar
Island as grape growers and care-takers.
